Job Overview:

This position will provide the development of customer profitability pricing models and provide analytics to support decision making within the UNFI Broadline and Regional Organization. This is a key role in supporting UNFI's growth, profitability and operational excellence initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop customer profitability models for new customer opportunities and existing customer contract renewals.


• Analyze customer profit & loss statements and work with teams within the organization to ensure they are accurate.


• Provide recommendations on pricing structure (fees, rebates, etc.) as needed.


• Assist UNFI’s Regional Business Development group and the Sales teams in presenting opportunities to company leadership including members of the Executive Leadership Team.


• Develop analytical tools and reporting that can be used to drive improved business decision.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.


• 3-5 years FP&A experience required.


• Expresses ideas and information in a clear and concise manner, tailors message to fit the interests and needs of the audience. Able to listen closely to identify important facts, assumptions and relevant information.


• Strong business acumen.


• Financial modeling experience. 


• Possess excellent research and analysis skills.


• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others within a complex, fast paced organization required.


• Strong teamwork ethic, positive proactive flexible attitude ability to take complete ownership of responsibilities.


• Experience with data visualization tools ie. Tableau, Power BI is a plus.


• Experience with TM1 and/or Hyperion Essbase a plus.


• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and related software applications.


• Some travel may be required.
