JOB TITLE: Aviation Logistics - I MEF G7/EOTG

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Subject matter expertise (SME) and planning support services to I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) G-7 / I MEF Expeditionary Operations Training Group (I EOTG). SME provides strategic and operational planning support for advisor training.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide strategic and planning support for aviation logistics operations

- Support the I MEF Expeditionary Operations Training Group (I EOTG) Operations Section with aviation expertise, planning, and support during execution of all EOTG training and exercises

- Support activities involved in exercise and training aviation planning and execution in support of Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force (SPMAGTF)

- Provide SME support in the planning and coordinating of aviation operations and support requirements (fuel, ramp space, ground crew equipment) necessary for EOTG directed/sponsored training events - both on and off military installations. Majority of required work off military installations requires additional coordination with civilian agencies, airports, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

- Assist I MEF subordinate units - 11th, 13th, and 15th MEUs - in exercise concept development, determination of training site suitability, and provide aviation SME assistance to them as they plan and develop their MEU level pre deployment training plan (PTP) exercises

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

- US Citizen

- Secret Clearance

- Minimum of 4 to 10 years of experience

- Bachelor's Degree (6 years' additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Associate's Degree plus four (4) additional years' experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree)

- MAGTF aviation experience with USMC MOS of 75XX (Fixed or Rotary Wing experience is acceptable) or other service equivalent

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Over 10 years of relevant experience

- U.S. Marine Corps (or service equivalent) Command and Staff College graduate

- Experience supporting I MEF Level Staff

WORK LOCATION: Camp Pendleton, CA
