We are looking for a Spinning Operator to join our Milliken-New Holland company. This position will be operating the spinning equipment with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities:
- Follow prescribed safety procedures.
- Patrol spinning frames to inspect, repair breaks in material, clean, and correct specified items.
- Identify problems with machines.
- Remove product/material from machines.
- Repair jams on the machines.
- Identify non-conforming material and notify production manager and/or technician.
- Ensure quality based on signage.

Preferred Requirements:
- Proven experience in manufacturing/textiles
- Attention to detail and familiarity with textile machinery

Job Type:
- Full Time (Temp to Perm)
- Shift Schedule:
- First Shift- 7:00am - 4:00pm (overtime as needed)
- Second Shift- 4:00pm - 12:00am (overtime as needed)
- Third Shift - 12:00am - 8:00am (overtime as needed)
- Monday through Friday (weekends as needed)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: FREQUENCY, AMOUNT, OR DESCRIPTION
- Standing: Ability to stand while operating spinning frame
- Sitting: Ability to sit down for a meeting
- Lifting: Ability to lift up to 8lbs multiple times per day
- Climbing: Ability to walk upstairs, steps, etc.
- Push/Pull/Reach: Ability to push/pull/reach for roving bobbins
- Bending: Ability to pick up objects from the floor
- Visual Acuity: Ability to machine displays, touch screens
- Walking: Ability to walk around the spinning frame
- Housekeeping: Ability to maintain a clean and organize work area
