Job Description:

OVERVIEW
This role will serve as a primary member of the Global Planning COE, reporting to the VP, Global Planning & Logistics Integration.

This role is responsible for oversight and management of supply planning processes and capabilities. Owns the Supply Planning processes globally by defining standards and policies and holds final decision rights on changes. Accountable for implementation and adherence of global planning capabilities and sponsor of continuous improvement opportunities. Works closely with Segment / Regional Planning COEs and Integrated Planning Leaders to ensure global capability consistency. This role will also has a responsibility to partner with the Global Planning Hub to ensure supply capabilities are enabled and optimized.

Applicant must be willing to commit to 24 - 36 months in role.

KEY ACCCOUNTABILITIES

Processes and Procedures (40%):
- Global point of contact for Supply planning processes and standards that support and decision/policies. Includes but not limited to concurrent supply planning, external supply chain, finite scheduling, raw material planning and inventory management.
- Maintain understanding, documentation, and communication of the global supply planning process design and Segment / Regional differences.
- Understand and translate Segment / Regional business needs to inform potential changes to the global supply planning process design.
- Responsible for decision making that includes any aspect of supply planning processes; support decisions that involve data, tools, or operating model considerations related to supply planning
- Understand data requirements to maintain supply planning processes; communicate and gain alignment with cross-functional leaders to execute.
- Define and measure global supply planning KPIs; leverage Planning Hub resources to provide regular reporting to enable cross-segment / region and cross-category assessment of gaps and opportunities
Process Deployment and Capability Development (40%):
- Partner with Segment/Region Supply Planning COE, Planning leaders to develop process deployment and capability development plans based on global strategy and business needs
- Lead execution of deployment road map across process, data, technology and people capability development
- Own development of learning materials and plan in partnership with L&D team for all Supply planning community and onboarding of new members
- Establish and leverage Supply planning community of practice to drive capability development, best practice sharing and business difference understanding across all segments
- Own the performance of Supply planning process in partnership with region and Planning Hub
- Support activation of Integrated Planning Transformation activation in the regions in partnership with program team
Capability Improvement (20%):
- Continuously research and stay up-to date on current trends in the industry with an effort to continually advance supply planning maturity
- Partner with Segments / Regions to understand priorities that impact all supply planning capabilities
- Partner with Global Demand Owner to ensure Integrated Planning product is seamless.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the supply chain function, the last few in a leadership position
- Knowledge of advanced supply planning approaches across all aspects of demand planning (e.g. network capacity planning, production planning, DRP, MRP, finite scheduling), informed by prior roles and ongoing education of cross-industry practices (e.g. concurrent planning)
- Knowledge of global needs and constraints
- Knowledge of third party tools and technologies related to supply planning (e.g. network capacity planning, production planning, DRP, MRP, finite scheduling)
- Knowledge of other Planning tools and technologies (e.g. demand, IBP) and how they impact supply planning
- Ability to communicate with senior-level business and functional leaders (VP level and above)
- Ability to interpret and communicate both business and functional needs and impacts
- Ability to coach and develop leaders in global/regional Supply planning organization
- Competencies required: Engage with Purpose, Demonstrate Agility, Leverage Standard Processes, Leverage Expertise, and Seize Opportunities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree
- Preferred area of study - Supply Chain
- CSCMP, APICS certification
