Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Medical Information Specialist at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
Receiving and responding to requests for patient information from physician offices and the medical center staff.
- Properly follows the release of information process.
- Completes all tasks in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in Health Information Management (Medical Record Department).
