As a Software QA Engineering Intern within the PowerFLOW Development Team, you will support our core simulator software development, with responsibility for the quality of our software. You will interact with the Development, Physics R&D and Application Management teams as a key contributor to product quality.

This is a paid, part-time 10-month co-op spanning from July to December 2020, based in the Dassault Systemes Americas Headquarters located at 175 Wyman St, Waltham, MA.

What will your role be?

Run and analyze the regression suite on various supported platforms

Evaluate product functionality and create Test Plans

Execute manual GUI testing and convert them into automated tests

Execute Test Plans and incorporate into the regression suite

Analyze other areas of low coverage and enhance the suite to cover them

Document all tests and procedures

Your Key Success Factors

Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree for the duration of the internship

Minimum GPA 3.0

Work onsite in the Dassault Systemes Waltham Office

Comfortable in a UNIX/Linux and Windows environment

Ability to program in Python and UNIX shell scripting

Knowledgeof C/C++ is an asset

Hands on experience developing/maintaining/automating regression test suites is an asset

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and products

Good English written and verbal communication skills
