POSITION SUMMARY:

Zoetis, the world leader in animal health, is in the process of vastly expanding its portfolio of connected Diagnostics solutions for our veterinary customers and delivering Digital Products that address our customers connectivity needs and provide meaningful data analytics insights to multiple stakeholders.

For our team within Diagnostic Mobility and Connectivity Solutions, we are seeking a UX Designer to lead the user experience across products in our omnichannel Digital Diagnostic Ecosystem. The Ecosystem consists of Zoetis-supplied point-of-care diagnostic analyzer and controller devices located in veterinary clinics, centralized reference laboratories, Zoetis s cloud backend, 3rd party practice management systems (PIMS), and the interconnections among the above components.

In this role, you will work in capturing feedback (voice of customer, product management, customer support), analyzing and incorporating in the design of new and existing Digital products across the Diagnostic Ecosystem. In the process, you will work in a multidisciplinary team, very closely with Product Managers and the software development teams (Technical Product Managers & Engineers).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform interactive prototyping and perform tests with users, in our lab and in guerrillas

* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams between creativity, marketing and technology

* Conduct research to understand current products design and usability needs, through user and teams/stakeholders research

* Facilitate usability test sessions both in person or remotely with current or potential users

* Understand and put in practice qualitative and quantitative research methods

* Research and analyze improvements in applications across multiple platforms (web, desktop, native iOS, Android)

* Work with Data teams and other products and data owners to gather and analyze quantitative data, merging it with qualitative research findings

* Present findings to stakeholders using compelling deliverables that provide clear results, actionable insights, and recommended next steps

* Sketch, prototype and iterate designs (UI, interactions, flows) with product managers and the engineering teams

* Create user-centric designs to improve usability, overall customer experience and appearance aligning with Zoetis brand and product guidelines

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

* Knowledge of interaction design, usability, user testing, prototyping and heuristic analysis

* Knowledge of the up to date style guides and patterns for mobile applications (iOS and Android)

* A mixture of technical and creative skills, to evaluate feasibility of the proposed solutions

* Enthusiasm for design and technology and state-of-the-art know-how of the most important digital products used worldwide to reuse patterns

* Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate properly to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Creativity and innovation. Coming up with new ideas is important for us.

* Knowledge of product industrial design, Design Thinking, Service Design and Digital Marketing

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work with cross-functional teams while thriving in a fast-paced growing company

EDUCATION:

* Bachelor s degree in related technical and design field

EXPERIENCE:

* 8+ years of experience in a closely related field and role

* Experience in omnichannel IoT Digital products user experience

* Experience with design and prototyping tools such as In Vision, Sketch or Balsamiq

* Experience with Design tools such as Photoshop

* Experience with Software Agile environments with Digital products software development

* Experience putting in practice user research methods such as Interviews, Focus groups, A/B testing, Usability benchmarking, Surveys
