Right now we are hiring a Regional Doctor Recruiter to join our growing team on the West Coast!

The Regional Doctor Recruiter ensures proper staffing levels are maintained for Optometrists across their specific region

Job Description

What Would You Do?

• Recruits doctors of optometry for full-time lease and part-time Opportunities across their specifically assigned region to ensure professional optometric coverage.

• Communicates regularly with District Managers, Regional VP's, and other senior level executives to communicate filled positions and hiring trends as well as providing insight on future hires and the short-term and long-term strategies for hiring

• Develops local and national marketing campaigns to promote our positions to current licensed optometrists through various methods, including; direct mail, web research, market analysis and in-person or phone cold calling.

• Cultivates relationships with optometry schools administration and class representatives to maintain a steady flow of interest from future optometrists. Presents information regarding NVI through direct interactions or by means of group presentations to the students throughout the country in each particular school market.

• Interviews and assesses the qualifications of the candidate optometrist while providing various pertinent information regarding the high quality of doctor associates and lease opportunities within NVI while including topics such as salary, benefits and contractual requirements.

• Maintains ongoing dialogue and support with NVI associate, leased and Senior Area doctors as a company liaison specifically outside of daily retail operations.

• Monitors doctors progress and performance based on budgets, hours of work, number of exams performed, revenue reported and lease rent paid.

• Attends and manages national industry events for NVI Professional Services to communicate and market current licensed optometrist and possible future doctor candidates.

Continually participates in team building, idea sharing, and professional services calls and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in related field required

• Ideal candidate will reside in the East Coast area of the US

• Doctor of Optometry is preferred

• 5+ years of professional level recruiting, Healthcare or retail experience preferred.

• Knowledge or relationships with retail optometrists and the industry in general are preferred.

• Strong verbal/written communication abilities; effective interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail.

• Manages multiple assignments, sets priorities, and adapts to changing conditions and work assignments.

• Ability to travel when required.
