What we do:

The Risk, Operations, and Control (ROC) team in the Statistics Function is looking for a Data Wrangler to support Statistics' core mission to improve data quality of the 100+ data collections. Our work transforms raw data into information that inspires Bank actions, directly supporting the Bank's mission to promote financial stability and help implement domestic and international supervisory policies and monetary policy.


Reporting to the Manager of Change Integration you will:


  • Provide data wrangling services to make data (structured and unstructured), by transformations, normalization, and data mapping, consumable for a variety of downstream purposes such as applications, visualizations, and analytics



  • Design and model analytical methods based on the statistical methods required by Statistics staff



  • Produce high-quality documentation and models, as a result of the discovery and evaluation process. Validate, test, and deploy data models and analytical products/tools.



  • Identify opportunities to enhance standards and incorporate best practices in the areas of data wrangling, data visualization, data integration, and Business Decision Modeling (BDM)



  • Help establish a repeatable business process for Statistics analysts to conduct exploratory analysis and define a lifecycle to mature analytical practices for standardization, digitalization and improvement



  • Help train data wrangling capabilities and the review of apprentices' data wrangling work products



  • Build expertise in BDM for business rules, and provide thought leadership and standards to accomplish solutions and the responsibilities within the BDM discipline



  • Research, troubleshoot and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems
