Design Sales Engineer, Microsoft Cloud

You are an information technology professional possessing understanding of Microsoft Cloud solutions (Office 365, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and/or Azure) or equivalent technology. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Information Systems/Computer Science/Information Technology/etc. (or similar engineering degree) from an accredited college or university with a preferred multiple years of related industry and job experience. Microsoft Accreditations/Certifications highly desirable.

Get Inspired by the Work You'll Do
- Proactively engage with SYNNEX sales personnel to sell Microsoft Cloud solutions to include Cross-sell / Up-sell opportunities and objection handling
- Guide resellers through Microsoft Cloud onboarding including familiarization with the solutions pricing, design architecture, administrative portal usage, and common solution sales scenario discussions
- Coach Microsoft Partners (resellers) on the merits of the Microsoft Cloud Platform and on how to identify opportunities and monetize products and services effectively
- Provide Microsoft Cloud technical guidance through research, escalation, and collaboration with SYNNEX and Microsoft technical personnel
- Maintain current understanding of competitive landscape and Microsoft Cloud points of differentiation
- Provide candid feedback from resellers and end customers to SYNNEX management and Microsoft account team on roadblocks as they relate to delivering solutions on Microsoft Cloud technologies
- Develop and maintain relationships with resellers and Microsoft technical staff to identify new opportunities
- Provide pre-sales support through the gathering of architecture, design and presentation of solutions to meet the prospect's needs
- Assist in the delivery of pre-sales proof-of-concepts (POC), pilots, demonstrations, evaluations, design architecture guidance, and technology benchmarking

- Ability to influence others with exceptional interpersonal awareness skills
- Understanding of IT solutions at a high level. Familiarity with the following Microsoft solutions a plus:
- Microsoft 365, Office 365, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Azure (or other Cloud provider), Windows and/or Linux Server, Virtualization, DevOps, other Productivity solutions
- Willingness to pass Pre-Sales Technical accreditations on Microsoft Cloud within 60 days of employment
- Multiple years of related technology experience preferred; recently graduated candidates considered
- BS/BA Degree or experience equivalent
- Familiarity with one or more programming/scripting languages a plus; bash shell, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, R, etc. is a plus, but not a requirement
- Consulting, pre-sales and/or sales engineering desired, but not a requirement
- Government clearance a plus, but not a requirement
