General Responsibilities:

- Responsibilities will include conceptual thinking, advanced planning, architecture development, and analysis and review of: designs, processes, procedures, functional and data requirements, complex systems, and formal documentation and presentation of that analysis and review.
- Areas of specialization include analysis tools, rocket engines, mechanical devices, turbines, propulsion and fluids, Materials and Properties, contamination control, ordnance, Mechanical Ground Support Systems, and environmental control.
- May be required to supervise less experienced engineers.
- Ensure activities, technologies, and capabilities are planned, coordinated, and integrated.
- Ensure activities, technologies, and capabilities are operationally ready in a timely manner for launch operations.
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
- Evaluates operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
- Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or Bachelor Degree in STEM field
- 10 years of STEM experience in relevant fields engineering disciplines.
- Current DoD TS/SCI clearance or higher
