The May Institute is seeking a BCBA in Tidewater, VA to provide supervision of home-based early intensive behavioral intervention (EIBI) and parent consultation for young children with autism spectrum disorder. In addition to competitive pay, the BCBA will have the opportunity to learn cutting-edge ABA interventions, gain experience implementing a large-scale research project, and receive supervision from expert staff (including licensed psychologists).

Responsibilities include:

Assist in the enrollment process with the identification and screening of possible children and families to act as participants

-
Skill assessment and treatment planning for enrolled study participants

-
Development and implementation of programs to enhance client skills in the areas of social communication and interaction using a verbal behavior framework

Development, implementation, and monitoring of home-based EIBI services according to study protocols, including parent training

-
Supervision of behavior technicians, including training and providing feedback

-
Data collection for study measures, including collecting IOA and treatment integrity data

Participation in research team meetings and clinical panels

Effective communication with parents, research coordinators, and the Principal Investigator

Assist research coordinators with the insurance authorization process for participants

Qualifications:

-
Master's degree in a related field

-
BCBA credential

-
Licensed behavior analyst in VA
- Previous experience implementing EIBI, conducting behavior assessments, and developing behavior intervention plans
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- TRICARE-credentialed and experience serving TRICARE families
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable means of transportation
