This position can eitherbe based in our HQs located in Ashburn, VA or remotely in Wichita, KS.

Responsibilities:Provide Deputy Project Management support to Cyber Operations and Defense programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. The Deputy Project Manager will assist the Project Manager with the following tasks:

- Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.

- Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.

- Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.

- Executes project scope and objectives.

- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.

- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.

- Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degreeor the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience (6 years)

- 2+ years of program management experience.

- Experience with DOD or Air Force Programs.

- Minimum of Secret clearance is required.

- Microsoft Office experience including Excel, Project, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

- Experience developing and implementing processes and procedures designed to keep programs on track.

- Experience supporting project managers and directing project teams.

- Experience reporting program performance to customer and organizational leadership.

- Excellent communication skills and experience interfacing with customers.

- CMMI experience a plus.

- Project Management Professional Certification a plus.

- The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
