Otter Products is currently recruiting for a Sr. Learning and Development Specialist to join our Otter Relations (Human Resources) team in Fort Collins, CO.

As the Sr. Learning and Development Specialist, you will integrate specialized professional experience with an understanding of business and employee needs to lead the design and development of effective, inclusive, and engaging learning solutions. This Otter, in partnership with business leaders and Otter Relations (HR) partners, is responsible for both leading and supporting success and continued growth of individuals, leaders, teams, and the organization.

You will bring a strategic mindset with the ability to execute on learning and development opportunities that span a wide range of topics, methods of delivery and formats. You will have the ability to take a lead or supporting role to facilitate training sessions, meetings, workshops etc. Curious about a typical week? Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support the ongoing implementation of the learning and development (L&D) framework, tools, and processes to build effective teams, organization wide, to address key business issues.
- Work closely with employees of all levels who will act as subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, develop, and maintain learning content and curricula for Otter Products, LLC.
- Develop course design strategies with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure adoption of best practices and achievement of effective results.
- Determine and develop educational strategies across modalities to achieve targeted outcomes for identified skills and behavioral needs to ensure our solutions meet the highest possible standards for relevance, quality, and ease of use.
- Partner with critical stakeholders and business partners to provide top-notch learning and development programs to Otters at all levels of the organization.
- Ensure that all development and advancement programming is equitable, recognizing diversity gaps and actively building support for inclusion.
- Establish effective and efficient systems knowledge, processes and standards for design, delivery, testing, and evaluation of programs within the company Learning Management System (LMS).
- Develop efficient systems and processes for program evaluation, including participation, knowledge gain, skill transfer to inform how best to move the needle on employee effectiveness.
- Build strong, collaborative working relationships with Otter Relations Business Partners (ORBPs), team members, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
- Support Otter Products' internal communication strategy with consistent and effective employee communication.
- Stay connected to industry learning trends and future learning programs to help drive innovation.
- Roll up your sleeves as necessary to ensure programs and related activities are flawless from helping prep materials, to setting up the classroom, and leading discussions.
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in human resource development, psychology, organizational development, or related field is required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered. Master's degree or higher is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in organizational development, leadership development, and employee training required.
- Learning and development experience across multiple modalities, including: eLearning, instructor led, virtual training preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing development programs based on broader organizational goals preferred.
- Experience building, interpreting, and communicating with multiple organizational levels preferred.
