As a Phlebotomist, you will support the lab team in a variety of functions including routine blood draws and minor technical functions. You will provide clinical support as well as administrative support to all areas of the lab.

You will obtain blood specimens.

Label and initial test tubes immediately after procedure.

You will dispose of all used needles in designated sharps containers. * Demonstrate the ability to work independently without supervision and assist in training new phlebotomists.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Phlebotomy training

* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

ASCP/ASPT Phlebotomy certification preferred * Previous phlebotomy experience preferred

HOURS

* PRN

* Mixed Shifts to include weekend and holiday requirements
