STERILE PROCESSING MANAGER

HCA HOUSTON HEALTHCARE TOMBALL is a 350-bed offering a wide variety of services, including emergency care, labor and delivery, a level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), general surgery, orthopedics, and robotic surgery. The hospital's 150-acre campus also features The Tomball Regional Orthopedic Center, The Women's Center, Texas Sports Medicine Center, and The Heart and Vascular Center.

HCA HOUSTON HEALTHCARE TOMBALL is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THE ROLE?
* You will provide leadership over SPD staff.
* You will oversee support of operations for instrument processing throughout facility to include: Main OR and all procedural areas with instrument needs and unity trays.
* You will manage cleaning, stocking, and replenishing code carts, working closely with department leaders and supervisors to ensure processes run smoothly.
* You will handle all instrumentation issues on a daily basis - work with engineering, biomed and eternal vendors.
* You will build relationships and work cohesively with necessary departments.
* You will work closely with surgical services management team on day to day operations and department needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:
* BS in health care related field is preferred.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:
* Certification as a Central Sterile Supply Technician is required.
* Three (3) years of experience in Sterile Processing in required. One year of Management experience is required.
