Are you an innovative Human Resources practitioner with strong advisory skills and a passion for collaborating with business and talent?

We are seeking an HR Manger to join the UT Health East Texas team. This position will ensure seamless delivery and execution of people strategies that support hospital objectives. This includes delivering strategic and core HR services to the business.

Work You'll Do

* Serve as subject matter expert for assigned facilities in relation to HR services, including coaching and development, performance management, job and employee data changes, separations, compensation, employee relations, learning, succession management, employee retention, and engagement.

* Lead facility on-boarding efforts including the New Leader Assimilation Process. Participate on the broader UT Health East Texas New Hire Experience Team

* Complete required reporting or results delivered to the business; Conduct additional deep dive analyses as needed with regular interaction with Operations and Finance.

* Deliver practical and insightful thought leadership to department leaders, focusing attention on appropriate next steps to address areas of need.

* Oversee employee relations issues; effectively managing risk, working with legal, business leaders, and HR leaders as needed.

* Oversee the employee engagement, Best Places to Work and evaluation processes in line with the UT Health East Texas processes.

* Work across the UT Health East Texas HR team to implement the broader HR strategy and initiatives.

* Ensure the UT Health East Texas commitment to creating an inclusive culture.

Certification/Licensure
PHR, SPHR preferred

Education Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, Human Resources or other related fields required

Experience 3-5 years in human resources in a healthcare or other related setting
