Job Description:

DESCRIPTION

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Inventory Control Coordinator serves as a liaison between the sales team, warehouse team, and Keefe Group/KCN Corporate offices and is responsible for maintaining acceptable inventory levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Coordinate semi-annual inventory for KCN, Securepak & Inmate Direct.
* Update tags for counts
* Assign teams
* Track and account for all tags
* Coordinate changes once counts are completed
* Track out of stock items and any substitutes used.
* Process expired/damaged items in AAIC99 system.
* Assist with buy back reports from customers.
* Coordinate menu item changes for KCN customers.
* Maintain lists of items sold in KCN arenas.
* Order postage and tobacco.
* Assist as needed in weekly cycle count of items required by KCN Corporate
* Review semi-monthly inventory reports to maintain acceptable levels of inventory.
* Generate memos and correspondence as directed.
* Follow established procedures and complete other duties as assigned.
* Communicate with respective purchasing agents on low stock/out of stock items to facilitate fulfillment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
* Valid Photo ID

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Exceptional organizational skills
* Detail oriented
* Strong mathematical skills
* Ability to type 45 wpm
* Good proofreading skills
* Data entry and 10-key skills
* PC experience required word processing and spreadsheet generation (including Microsoft Office programs)
* Customer service oriented
* Excellent telephone and communication skills

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must pass background check
* Must pass drug screening test

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will often be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk and hear. The employee will occasionally be required to stoop and kneel. The employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be exposed to moderate noise levels (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
