Idaho National Laboratory s (INL) Cybersecurity group is seeking forward-thinking, professionals interested in exploring a technical career as an Information System Security Engineer.

As a member of the Classified Cybersecurity organization, the Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) maintains core functions within the INL s Classified Cybersecurity Program. Responsible for the execution of information security functions and infrastructure maintenance and operations to ensure secure, reliable, uninterrupted availability of the INL National Security Systems in accordance with INL, DOE, DOD, and NIST security guidelines and requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Performs configuration, administration, and maintenance on classified servers, VMWare infrastructure, zero-client infrastructure, NetApp storage appliances, BlueCat DNS appliances, RSA appliances, and COMSEC TACLANEs.

* Performs NIST 800-53, and CNSSI-1253 Information security control implementation and auditing, self-auditing of DISA STIG requirement implementation and remediation, and classified infrastructure formal audit preparation.

* Performs NSS infrastructure lifecycle planning/management per NNSA CSSP requirements and is responsible for classified equipment inventory dispositioning (e.g. procurement, auditing, and destruction).

* Performs CSSP monthly reporting, participates in NNSA Enterprise IT Change Control Board, directly communicate with DOE-ID Authorizing Official, and supports Nessus vulnerability scanning and reporting.

* Supports IARC classified remote activities per NNSA Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* Level 1- Bachelor's and 5 yrs, M and 3 yrs, PhD and 2 yrs, or 13 years education/experience in lieu of BS degree.

* Level 2 - Bachelor's and 8 yrs, Master's and 6 yrs, PhD and 4 yrs, or 16 years education experience in lieu of BS degree

* Active DOE 'Q' or DoD 'TS' clearance is preferred.

* Must be a US citizen. Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
