Your Responsibilities
As a SeniorSoftware Engineer , for the John Deere Enterprise (Moline), you will join theDealer /CustomerMaster DataManagement area. In this role, you will getthe opportunity to work on Mission criticalto deliverthedata engineering directionand implement APIs/servicesforCustomerMaster data and other Master data products within the Data & Analytics space. In addition, you will:
Be responsible for collaborating with other engineers to design drive data engineering, API development and deliver high quality data accessibility solutions to meet the growing needs of the product's business requirementson cloud environments for both transactional and analytical needs.
Work as an active member of the Master Data Engineering scrum team with strong software design, data design and loosely coupled architectural experience
Transform and continuously improve product to meet or exceed the product's specifications of availability, data quality and compliance requirements thru'Devops/ CI/CD principlesand Data Governance principles
Participate in discussions with the scrum team and collaborate withStaff engineerand the product teams to develop technical solutions to satisfy business requirements
Participate in a variety of efforts related to front and back-end development (full-stack)
Drive product innovations leveraging the cloud and other industry leading technologies
Assist with root cause analysis and resolution of production support issues
Champion technical standards and processes; accountable for technical outcomes

Proven Technical Skills and Experiences
7or more years of experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions in Java web development withSpringbootand Restful APIsand API management
7or more years ofexperiencewithfull stackapplication development,API security, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities andconstraints
5or more years of proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment
3or more years of deep experience leveragingDevSecOpsand leandevelopment principles,such as:Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
2or more years of experience in cloud development with platforms like AWS orAzure
4or more years of working understanding of full-stack design patterns and designing loosely coupled architectures
3or moreyears ofhands-onexperience with building data pipelines using Spark / Databricks / python and be able to bring in tools / automation to maintain quality of data
2or moreyears of experience with TDD and acceptance test-driven development utilizing J-Unit, Cucumber, etc.
Demonstrated ability to effectively coach and mentor junior developers
Interpersonal, Leadership and Teaming Competencies
Capable of collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technologysolutionL
Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflictresolutionM
Proven experience as a work lead providing technical coaching and mentoring toothersH
