SUMMARY

Develop and implement employee engagement programs which enhance and drive the candidate and employee experience. Facilitate and conducts engagement surveys. Work with human resources, business leaders, as well as, employee focus groups, to develop engagement initiatives and practices which impact organizational policy and practices and shape organizational culture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:


  • Facilitates and conducts employee engagement surveys to evaluate and improve business results, uses trends and data to support program and impact change.
  • Assists with developing and executing an employee roadmap of objectives and key results which impact the candidate and employee experience and subsequent business results.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and efficiency across the employee life cycle (candidate experience through off boarding) which will enhance the employee brand and recognition of a preferred place to work.
  • Assist with efforts in building a high-performing work environment focused on employee development and delivering business results.
  • Advocates for employee engagement initiatives in the human capital strategy and people plan and develops plans on a page to successfully implement.
  • Partner with centers of expertise to enhance deliverables with the intent to map engagement solutions to company needs and growth for managers and employees.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in human resources management or other related field, and 6+ years of human resources, organizational development or employee engagement experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR, SPHR,or SHRM-CP certifications is preferred. Experience with employee engagement programs, assessing levels of employee engagement and developing/managing programs preferred. Project management experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Effective written, communication, presentation and computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of HR principles and processes including those related to employee engagement.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, decision-making, problem solving and planning skills.
  • Ability to produce results and think strategically.
  • Ability to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Ability to set priorities and work in a group environment or independently.
  • Ability to build strong interdepartmental relationships and trust throughout the company.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting. Work may require travel, including overnight stays.
