Software Engineering Manager – Scalable Tools Development

We are looking for a software manager to join our HPE Programming Environment Tools group. The Tools group Manager will manage a team of engineers developing scalable debugging tools as well as other programming environment tools. In addition, assisting with interactions with related 3rd party tools will be required. In this role, you will help drive technology advancements for the world’s most powerful exascale supercomputers.

You will manage a team of experienced tools engineers
You will establish team objectives to meet schedules and goals
You will act as a mentor and advisor to grow talent and next generation leaders
You will communicate with senior management for team vision and project tracking.
About you:
You have a degree in Computer Science or related discipline (Ph.D. or Masters welcome)
You are avsoftware engineer with 7+ years of experience and with 2+ years of people management or team lead experience
You have a background in high performance computing (HPC)
You have familiarity with C, C++, and Fortran languages
You have familiarity with Linux/Unix based development environments
You have scrum and Agile development methodologies is a plus
You have knowledge of debugger tools internals is a plus
