Batavia Container, Inc. in Batavia, IL is looking for a Machine Operator for a 2nd shift opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Check parts for dimensions and proper finish against prints
Run multiple machines at a time as required
Setup and operate the machinery, load raw materials and unload finished parts
Document and input Production Data Entry (PDE)
Responsible for machine cleaning and zone housekeeping procedures for the assigned work area.
Maximize machine utilization by adhering to standards of operation.
Inspect incoming sheets for quality, correct size, board grade and caliper.
Serve as a leader to Assistant Machine Operators by guiding them in the set-up, start-up, operation, and shut down tasks of the machine.
Support and adhere to required, documented and defined procedures and work instructions including, but not limited to: food safety programs, OSHA regulations and PPE as designated.
