Arconic is the world's leading producer and manager of primary aluminum, and alumina facilities, and is active in all major aspects of the industry.

We have an immediate opening for a Machine Operator for the Eastman, GA Arconic Architectural Products (AAP) plant. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Machine Operator supports safe and efficient production for AAP Eastman, GA.

Major activities/Key accountabilities:

• Counts and measures product to be packed for customer order compliance
• Visual inspection of product for defects
• Loads and unloads finished/packaged product
• Packages finished product
• Assists team with machine and product changeovers
• Assists with product setups
• Ability to read and understand terminology on required paperwork
• Completes checklists, reports and logs as needed
• Adheres to housekeeping requirements for work area
• Ability to make verbal or written suggestions/recommendations to management for improvements in work methods and/or safety procedures as needed
• Adheres to AAP policy and safety rules, regulations and procedures
• Understands Teamwork Concept (Group of employees with a common goal/goals and ownership of shared responsibility to achieve set goal/goals)
• Training includes procedures, instructions, on the job training and shadowing incumbent operators

Basic Qualifactions

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year prior work experience
• Must be legally ablel to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in production or manufacturing environment
• GA Work Ready Certification
• 1 year of forklift experience
• Positive attitude
• Willingness to work in a team-environment
• Ability and willingness to work safely in a fast paced production environment
• Basic Computer skills, Microsoft Office
