About the Job
Zeno is looking for a designer who can conceive and implement visual storytelling programs that range from digital presentations and RFPs to infographics and animated social media graphics. The Designer will be responsible for developing engaging creative content for our clients that tells a story and elicits an emotional response from various audiences. The candidate will work closely with internal account teams and senior leaders to deliver content that exceeds the expectations of our clients.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Expert level knowledge in using CS5 or higher (InDesign, Photoshop, Keynote and Illustrator)
Proficient knowledge in using video editing, animation and stop-motion photography software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, Wondershare Filmora, Camtasia)
Expert level knowledge of PPT and Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of trends in presentation design (Duarte, Presentation Zen, Tufte, infographics, etc.)
Proficiency in creating digital content for the various social media networks, notably LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram (e.g., pixel dimensions and standards, 20% rule, Twitter Cards, ads, carousels, video requirements & resolution)
Day to day design work for planned and real-time campaigns, including:
- Powerful visual storytelling using a mix of print, digital, social and video
- Designing and producing highly creative, impactful, PowerPoint presentations for new business pitches and client presentations
- Design for client/ agency collateral (social graphics/infographics/leaflets/ invitations/ brochures/ coverage boards etc.)
- HTML design for invitations/ newsletters (not essential)
- Brand identity for client’s campaigns
- Design and artwork for internal material such as business cards, staff invites
Juggle multiple assignments and work in a high-pressure environment
Work off-hours when needed for pitches and presentation design
Manage time and establish priorities while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands
Liaise with account teams to ensure creative work is efficiently and effectively delivered to clients
Liaise with printers and relevant suppliers
Professionally and effectively communicate with clients, peers and producers, demonstrating sound reasoning and judgment skills
Help communicate creative ideas in presentations to clients
Understand the concept behind creative work and how it achieves client and business goals
Sharp eye for layout consistency for format, and amazing attention to detail
Excels at visual storytelling, diverse graphic design and art direction of content
Regularly update knowledge on design trends
Create highly conceptual pieces of work that achieve client and business goals
About You
Basic Qualifications
1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency setting
Preferred Qualifications
A BFA in Fine Arts, Advertising or Graphic Design, strong understanding of graphic design, strong layout and composition with a keen eye for typography
Portfolio reflecting experience in branding, presentations, infographics, digital/interactive, advertising and print design
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to ideate and bring creative ideas to clients and campaigns
Ability to work cross-functionally and with a fast-paced team
Keen attention to details
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to own projects, demonstrate good judgment when working with team members and client contacts, and take initiative
A diverse portfolio reflecting work across print, digital and social media
Demonstrated experience with concepting highly creative designs
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines as well as day-to-day changes at every level of detail
