Job Description:
A plastics company in Goshen, IN is looking for a Mold Setup Technician for a 3rd shift opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Setup, troubleshoot, and monitor injection molding machines and related equipment.
- Perform multiple setups a day
- Perform any preventative maintenance as needed on the molds.
- Monitor the machine, detect malfunctions and make adjustments as needed to control the process
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience minimum doing mold setups.
- Must have a good understanding of injection molding processes.
- Experience in a production manufacturing environment.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
- High School or GED Diploma
You should be proficient in:
- Production Setups
- Mold / Die Setups
- Blueprint Reading
- Preventive Maintenance
