Job Description:
Real Alloy in Wabash, IN is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for a 6:30 am - 7:00 pm opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- The purpose of the role is to repair and maintenance of all mobile equipment with internal combustion engines of all types.
- Troubleshooting and repair - You will be responsible for repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Use basic hand tools and industrial shop equipment to perform maintenance assignments.
- Documenting and updating activities - You will keep accurate records and follow a preventive maintenance schedule.
- ** THIS IS A UNION FACILITY**
Qualifications:
- Strongly prefer industrial maintenance experience (Large equipment)
- Must be able to work from elevated levels, operating mobile equipment, pneumatic and electrical hand tools / jacks
- Understanding of pertinent diagnostic tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and be reliable when it comes to attendance
- Able to work outdoors in both hot and cold temperatures
