The Analytical Solutions Division (ASD) of Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc., has an immediate need for a full-time Program Analyst with a background in configuration management and an understanding of the Nuclear / Airframe community. The successful applicant will support AFNWC. Applicant must have a understanding of the nuclear gravity weapon system, the test mission, operational procedures and processes, configuration management and experience in the processes, procedures and requirements development. Previous assignments at AFNWC / ICBM SD and involved in the nuclear community / requirements development and validation, aircraft maintenance / sustainment a plus. This position requires strong technical background and engineering analytics skills to identify configuration management issues and risk issues. The successful candidate will be able to provide significant analysis support and administrative / management support day to day. This position also requires the ability to provide critical analysis review for system development, test analysis and possibly anomaly investigations and technical support for AFNWC. Applicant must be able to provide administrative support and development of position papers, white papers, briefings and development / validation of requirements documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Candidates will be required to have the following general experience and knowledge:

- Possess advanced skills and experience in analysis

- Very strong working knowledge, experience and thorough understanding in Gravity system unique operations and/or airframe integration

- Provide direct technical expertise support by assessing and evaluating integration efforts by various aircraft platforms to identify and assess potential impacts

- Review and provide input for compliance with interface requirements and nuclear certification criteria for the B61-12 program

- Ability to provide analysis support in defining system capabilities, requirements definition and identifying trade space / mitigation planning

- Have deep and broad range of experience in Modification Programs

- Have a thorough understanding of the AFNWC, ICBM SD, MAJCOM and their roles in Logistics, Maintenance, and Sustainment operations.

- Understand the anomaly process and have analysis abilities to participate

- Ability to manage and prioritize numerous assignments

- Organization and time management skills

- Demonstrated excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must meet the following requirements and have the following skill level for the respective position:

- Possess a Secret security Clearance

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in science or engineering or commensurate experience to offset 4 year degree

- 5 years DoD acquisition program experience, modification program

- Additional experience in the Joint DoD/DoE 6.X processes desired

- Experience with gravity, cruise, ICBM nuclear weapons systems desired

- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.

- Must be available and willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime
