Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a PRN Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia (GA).
This position offers:
Clinic open Monday through Saturday (PRN)
- No evenings, holidays, or on-call responsibilities

Job Duties:
- Provides administrative services directly to federal occupational health (FOH) clients, following standard operating procedure, which include:
- Manage patient's medical records
- Schedule appointments
- Arrange clinical procedures
- Answer phones
- Data entry
- Other general administrative tasks
- Assists with opening, moving, and closing assigned occupational health clinic (OHC) sites as directed.
- Regularly responds to all requests for data from the CHS Director, the Chief of Clinics, and the Medical Director's office, with complete and accurate information, in required format and within designated time frames.
- Assist Area Clinic Manager (ACM) with orientation for new staff.
- Maintains competency in all site-specific tasks required to provide services in any OHC location assigned. Must maintain records of all current competencies and provide documentation to all sites upon arrival.
- Performs regular health unit Quality Assurance Assessments for the assigned OHC.
- Submits all requests for leave and vacation to the Nurse Coordinator and ACM within required time-frame.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a CERTIFIED Medical Assistant (certificate is a requirement)
- High school diploma and one (1) year of medical administrative support experience in a physician's office, clinic, or other health care facility.
- Basic Life Support Certification from the AHA (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in all skills reported to perform clinical services administrative tasks.
- Physical ability to perform basic life support including CPR and use or AED on client on the ground or floor.
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
