ACCOUNTABILITIES
*Develop new business primarily through in-person contacts, phone calls, canvassing and follow-up to include; presentations to those who influence decisions and decision-makers and schedule fact-to-face contact with prospective candidates requiring real estate needs
*Report and update supervisor on calling program status; clients met, potential deals being generated, issues/concerns, and next steps; this will involve using and maintaining the firm's CRM software for tracking new business development
*Work with Senior Agents as needed to assist in calls and business development activities
*Represent the interests of client firms to locate office space (including researching companies and executives, preparing surveys, conducting tours, evaluating proposals, conducting financial analysis, preparing lease abstracts and reviewing lease documents)
*Responsible for the preparation of marketing materials (including flyers, floor plans, brochures, stacking plans, and maps)
*Work closely with brokers to prepare proposals and strategies for presentations, as well as working closely with Market Research to pull together market information for clients
*Develop and maintain working relationships with industry professionals
*Prepare financial analyses comparing purchase versus lease options

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
*Bachelor Degree; MBA or graduate degree in Real Estate preferred
*0-3 years professional experience in Commercial Real Estate or Finance
*Must procure and maintain a real estate salesperson's license as required
*Proven record of providing outstanding internal and external customer service
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
*Advanced financial background with knowledge of Excel and Argus modeling
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
*Basic understanding of statistics/quantitative analysis; and basic understanding of finance (e.g., concepts of present value and return on investment)
*Detail oriented, self-starter, well organized, able to handle multiple projects at any given time, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
*Demonstrated strong interpersonal and sales skills essential

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
*Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
*May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
*Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
*Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
*Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
*Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
