As CT Technologist you are on the leading edge of innovation. As a support to the physicians, you are vital to diagnosing disease or trauma by providing an inside view of the human body without invading it.
ABOUT THIS UNIT:

* Diagnostic Imaging department support patients from outpatient, inpatient and the Emergency Department.

* Strong teamwork and collaboration, supportive physicians and leadership, and professional environment that support future career development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position performs routine and emergency computed tomography and related procedures in accordance with the departmental policy and procedure manual and the Radiologist's request, producing exams of acceptable technical quality.
*

Knowledge of radiology operations, strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as the ability to interact with patients, physicians, and personnel in a pleasant, positive and courteous manner. * The technologist in this department provides care for birth to pediatric, pediatric/child patients between 1 and 11 years of age; adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 65 years of age and geriatric patients 65 years and older.

QUALIFICATIONS

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

* Must have minimum of High School Diploma or GED

* Current registration/licensure/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography. If new graduate, must obtain ARRT within six months of registry eligible date.

* Certification in Computerized Tomography preferred. If not currently registered in CT, must become CT registered within six months of hire date.

* Certification in BLS required.
