Largo Medical Center is currently accepting applications for a state-licensed Interventional Radiology Supervisor on a full-time basis in our Interventional Radiology Department. Call may also be assigned as needed. The Interventional Radiology Supervisor functions as a team leader and supervises the quality performance of diagnostic and interventional radiology (IR) procedures within the IR area of the imaging department. This is inclusive of coordinating patient flow through the IR area, coordination of IR technologist workload assignments, call schedules and supply procurement. Further duties include assigning and completion confirmation of the following requirements by IR staff: room preparation and cleanliness, equipment operating conditions maintained, physicians appropriately assisted during imaging procedures, film development and image/film file distribution competently coordinated. Secondary duties include functioning as a staff technologist, patient transportation, clerical/receptionist/file room duties, stocking supplies, procedure room cleanliness, and participating in quality improvement activities. ARRT (R), CRT and BLS are required.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)

* Valid ARRT (R)

* Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

* Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience

* Customer service abilities including effective listening skills

* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 100 lbs.
