JOB SUMMARY

Supports the financial management and reporting needs of the Spectrum Reach Operations areas of Fulfillment, IT and Platforms. Responsible for assisting Director/Manager in all aspects of management reporting on monthly, quarterly and annual basis

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Prepare monthly accruals in conjunction with reports from Central Purchasing group and input from functional areas

* Analyze operating expense account and purchase/meeting card activity to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and coding

* Assist the Director/ Manager in operating expense variance analysis for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting

* Create and maintain supporting operating expense schedules used by finance teams for budgeting, forecasting and presentation purposes

* Assist the Director/ Manager with the annual budget and quarterly forecast process, model preparation and submission, and completion of presentation packages

* Field questions from Accounting and field as needed

* Collaborate with Director/Manager to control expenditures to achieve the stated long and short term strategic objectives

* Assist functional areas in preparation of Capital Purchase Requests

* Assist functional areas and vendors in determining status of vendor payments

* Frequent ad hoc Essbase report creation/account analysis

* Extensive communications with functional area partners

* Perform other duties as required

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience

* 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate accounting, or public accounting (auditing); SAP and Essbase experience a plus, advertising/media industry experience a plus

* Expert Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros

* Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

* Ability to work effectively under deadlines
