Job Description: Individual in this position will be part of a dynamic team with a proven track record of inventing, developing, and commercializing FDA registered medical devices, sports medicine systems and animal health products. In this role, the individual will routinely interact with the Sales, Marketing, Research / Development and Quality functional areas. The associate will oversee the following:

1. TS&D/Applications Engineer
- Collaborate with marketing team to gather understanding onhow our products perform
- Create tools to share technical insights to the marketing and sales functions
- Actively seek opportunities to develop tools which support revenue generation e.g. posters, abstracts,clinical papers, photos, journal articles, presentations, product training tools, and competitive demos. Collaborate with Marketing to create technical literature
- Evaluation of competitive products
- Develop an understanding of product interactions with a focus on how our products interact with others
- Develop in-vitro tests which can measure critical performance parameters
- Benchmark in-vivo clinical work, publications, and evidence throughout the industry
- Work with marketing to translate laboratory and clinical results into viable marketing tools (e.g. posters, published papers, evidence review articles)

2. New Product Development
- Research literature to gather knowledge in the products and applications
- Develop, define, implement, communicate, and manage new product development projects to defined timelines
- Develop and execute test protocols, interpret results, and present/publish associated reports
- Apply a relevant knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes to optimize product design for manufacturability
- Lead and/or participate in design transfer activities
- Development of new methods and validation of the methods to test performance of prototypes or products

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Applied Science or equivalent technical degree
- Experience in medical devices, sports medicine, or animal health preferred
- Limited travel of
