Deere & Company is seeking a Staff Software Design Engineer - Displays and Telematics in Fargo, ND with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 8 years related experience. Prior experience must include: lead and mentor team in all phases of embedded software development for embedded Linux projects including requirements capture, design, and implementation using C, Python and shell script programming (8 years); design, develop and integrate Linux based solutions (drivers and application) for Ethernet (802.3), Ethernet Switch, Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n), and 3G/4G modems into new embedded controller designs (7 years); experience with debugging and hardware diagnostic tools required for analyzing CAN, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Cellular communications including Vector CANoe, Wireshark, USB Protocol analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, CMW500 for 3G/4G Network Testing, Multimeter and Wi-Fi sniffer (5 years); lead software architecture development, and assist hardware architecture development, for telematics, ADAS, Wi-Fi, NVIDIA SoC, USB, and embedded Linux systems (5 years). 10% travel required.
