Intuitive is looking for a sharp, efficient, and highly engaged SeniorProduction Manager to join our growing Media Production team starting January 1,2021.

Position Description:

Intuitive's Media Production team is looking for a Production Manager (SPM) tosupport the review, publishing, and distribution of the company's multimedia(video, photography, audio, and animation) to internal and external audiences.The SPM will report directly to the Director, Media Production and will play acritical role in shepherding the team's award-winning productions throughclinical, regulatory, and legal review.

This role will require strong cross-functional communication skills, excellentattention to detail, an understanding of media production and post-production,and a tenacious drive to keep projects on track. The SPM will facilitatecollaboration with various internal departments and key external vendors. Keyresponsibilities include maintaining and updating project plans, fosteringcommunication and coordination between functional groups, identifying risks andmitigations, and providing updates on project status to project team leaders.

Responsibilities:


  • Produce and maintain project documentation in Workfront, including schedules,content review notes, status reports, and project assets

  • Manage the review, publishing, and distribution of media productions, fromsmall to large, that are designed to meet international strategic objectivesand aligned with the brand guidelines through Intuitive's Quality ManagementSystem, Agile.

  • Support each project Producer in communicating publication / distributionschedules to client, 3rd party vendors, and internal colleagues.

  • Support project Producers on logistics and tasks, Purchase Order creation,invoice processing, interview transcription creation, minor edits to mastervideos, and project data transfer and management among others.

  • Support Executive Producer on managing global localization of select videos -usually text on screen, sometimes foreign language voiceover / spoken word.

  • Maintain quality control and review all projects before delivering toclients.

  • Interface and coordinate with subject matter experts and project teamslocated around the world.

  • Continually look for ways to enhance productivity through processimprovements, task automation, and new technology.

  • Proven effectiveness when working under pressure and in fast paceenvironment.

  • Appreciation for the creative process and skilled at working with creativeteams.

  • Ability to make sound decisions, think strategically, focus on detail,problem solve, and multi-task.

  • The ideal candidate will have an interest in multimedia production andfoundational understanding of pre-production, production, and post-production.

  • Familiarity with content management systems to maintain online channels withcurrent, approved content, files and descriptions.

Qualifications &Requirements:


  • BA/BS degree preferred in relevant discipline (Journalism, Technical Writing,Communication, other) PMP or another Project Management Certification welcome

  • Solid, demonstrated (10+ years) cross-functional content project managementexperience, in particular building, implementing, maintaining, and improvingindustry leading content project management processes and procedures, as wellas managing detailed schedules and projects across dozens ofcontributors/reviewers and complex content initiatives

  • Experience effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines across globalteams, while organizing and prioritizing tasks from multiple sources in afast-paced environment, and maintaining highest quality standards

  • Experience working with Legal, Privacy, Regulatory, Clinical departmentsdeveloping content and managing content production; general understanding andinterest of medical terminology

  • Excellent communication, writing, editing, interpersonal, and organizational skills;ability to communicate at all levels within the organization, to technical,business, and executive stakeholders; expert-level fluency in written English

  • Ability to keep a cool head and emotional resilience while juggling multipleprojects.

  • Excellent self-management skills

  • Medical device or regulated industry experience a plus.
