Mazars is seeking a high-performing Audit Staff Associate to join our growing team. As an Audit Staff Associate you will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service excellence while working with other Audit professionals and interacting with valued clients.

Professional Responsibilities:
Gain a thorough understanding of Mazars USA's audit approach, methodology and tools
Perform analytical review and testing of audit documents
Review client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control; design and perform tests of internal control; provide recommendations for improved controls
Produce accurate and timely work papers and documents
Prepare financial statement reports and documentation to support Mazars USA's reports.
Develop and maintain relationships with client personnel to obtain an understanding of business operations, processes and functions
Keep up to date with current economic developments relevant to our clients' businesses and industries
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Master's Degree desired
CPA-qualified or actively preparing for the CPA exam
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a reputable CPA firm
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a client service focus
Ability to build and maintain relationships with co-workers and clients
Superior interpersonal skills and a desire to be part of a "work hard, play hard" team
Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide first-rate client service
Motivated by challenges and desire to be part of a team
Strong analytical and report writing skills
