Dispatch Reduction Coordinator - Vector Security Networks at Vector Security, Inc.

Job Description:

Do you like interacting with vendors and customers? Do you enjoy multi-tasking and working with a variety of administrative tasks? If so - Vector Security Networks Division has an opening for a Dispatch Reduction Coordinator in Gainesville VA. Assist customer and technicians and partner with teams throughout division in providing support with alarm monitoring including false alarm reduction and assist with the alarm permit program.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Develop and build and  relationships between Vector and jurisdictions including third party companies throughout US and Canada

  • Liaison and advocate in assisting customers with appeal processes on false alarm fees and drive to reduce or eliminate fees 

  • Participate and serve on industry committees; virtually as well as attend on site

  • Ability to remain current and familiar with industry trends

  • Review site accounts - assess need of system inspections and end user training - schedule and verify completion of required services

  • Support the development, offering, and ongoing refinement of the alarm monitoring permit program

  • Maintain accurate - complete records of corresponding permit numbers and expiration dates on all monitoring permits within systems

  • Handle jurisdictional research throughout the US and Canada as it pertains to alarm monitoring requirements - ensuring the maintenance and update of records 

  • Support false alarm reduction initiative for division enhancing Vector's image within the law enforcement community and various associations including False Alarm Reduction Association
