Job Summary: 

• You are responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of assigned projects/programs.


• This position requires that you have a combination of skills including an ability to ask questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts, as well as more general management skills.


• You are responsible to ensure that the project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard (within agreed Statement of Work (SOW).


• You will be responsible to ensure assigned projects/programs are effectively resourced and manage relationships with a wide range of groups (including client).


• You are also responsible for managing the work of subcontractors, managing and allocating hours/funding.


• You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with Akima and public regulations, and performing any data analysis relevant to project financials.


• You are responsible for developing and defining key performance parameters and creating regular variance reports to track the financial progress of each of your assigned projects.


• You are also, responsible for ensuring that SAVA is in compliance with Akima and public project management principles to help keep project accounting on track from the very beginning.


• You  must ensure that the project gets the first call when a conflict of interest arises. During the project implementation stage, activities would include project control and reporting activities carried out regularly, needed to demonstrate control of the project.


• As a Liaison on, you will need to recognize that risk directly impacts the likelihood of success and that this risk must be both formally and informally measured throughout the lifetime of a project.

 

Responsibilities: 

• As a Liaison- on- you will be working very closely with the client.


• Liaises with, and updates progress to, project board/senior management


• Overseeing a data-center


• Planning and Defining Scope


• Activity Planning and Sequencing


• Resource Planning, Developing Schedules, Time Estimating, Cost Estimating, and Developing a Budget


• Proper Documentation


• Conduct Risk Analysis and Managing Risks


• Monitoring and Reporting Progress


• Communicate with Business Partners


• QA/QC Projects/Program.


• Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan


• Overseas project deliverables in line with the project plan


• Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary


• Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary


• Monitoring project progress and performance


• Providing status reports to the client


• Overseas and asses project evaluation and dissemination activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have an Active Top Secret clearance OR a US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.


• Must have at least fifteen (15) years of experience of leadership skills.


• Must have experience with Data Centers.


• A Bachelor degree is preferred, but an Associate Degree is acceptable


• Must be able to obtain PMP (Project Management Professional)
