Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program- Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program - this will be a paid earn while you learn program. Samaritan Health is excited to announce its Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program. This 7-week, paid training program will require a time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week. If you are a compassionate, caring, and dedicated individual interested in a dynamic healthcare opportunity as a Certified Nursing Assistant at one of our long-term care nursing homes, (Samaritan Keep Home or Samaritan Summit Village) consider the CNA training program that is held at Samaritan Keep Home in Watertown, NY. At the successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the New York State Certified Nursing Assistant exam. Classes will start Monday, February 8th, 2021. There are mandatory orientation days starting the week of February 1st, 2021 in which you will be given the schedule accordingly. Classes will begin the following Monday after your week of orientation activities and are held Monday through Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM starting on MONDAY, February 8th, 2021 for 6 weeks. (Class schedule subject to change).

Selected applicants are contacted and scheduled for a group interview with our Nurse Managers and Human Resources. If selected to participate in the program, successful applicants will receive a conditional offer of employment as a Unit Helper, will be required to pass a criminal background check, obtain positive work references, and pass a pre-employment drug test and employee health physical.
