We are currently seeking an IBM WebSphere Administrator / OpenShift DevOps to join our team. Preference for candidate to be in the local Lake Forest, CA area, but will consider remote / work from home for the right candidate based within the US. For local candidates in the Lake Forest, CA commutable area, this role will work remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic until otherwise determined.

Job Responsibilities Include:

* Oversees the overall server administration, including, but not limited to, application health monitoring, server health monitoring, application patches and upgrade, WebSphere upgrade, automation of deployment process

* Install, configure WebSphere Application Server 8.5.5 IBM Http Server, apply refresh packs, fix packs and cumulative

* Create application server configuration, clusters (horizontal / vertical), created JDBC resources (data source configurations)

* Integrate and deploy Enterprise J2EE applications on WebSphere ND 7.x/8.5.5 that involves EAR, JAR, WAR files using Admin

* Involve in tuning WebSphere Application Server components such as Web container & Data Source Connection Pools, JVM Heap and Servlets response time

* Enable WebSphere global security using LDAP Server

* Work along with other groups like MQ, DB in integrating WebSphere Application Server in multiple environments

* Involve in backup, recovery and troubleshooting for MQ Series / IIB

* Configure the extranet Web Servers and intranet Application Servers using the firewalls between the Web Servers and application servers (DMZ model)

* Create SSL certificates and CA certificates using IKEYMAN

* Configure Single Sign on (SSO) for authentication and authorization

* Trouble shooting and performance tuning using Resource Analyzer and Log Analyzer

* Configure the Web Server interfaces, session management, virtual hosts and transports for WebSphere

* Configure the WebSphere load balancing using WebSphere Workload Management like horizontal cloning and vertical cloning

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience with IBM WebSphere Administration

* Minimum of 1 year of experience as Build & Release Engineer / DevOps Build Management

Preferred Skills:

* Familiar with Maven build and CI/CD deployment pipeline

* Working experience with IBM OpenShift

* Working experience with Cisco AppDynamics
