PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for pulling parts, replenishing, and moving raw and finished materials for the Assembly team.  This position is largely off equipment, but, may require some use of a forklift, order picker, or reach truck.  

 

Starting pay is $15.09.  Shift Differential is 80 cents for third shift.     

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

This position reports to the Materials Manager.  May also receive direction from group leader. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Puts away incoming materials. 

2.    Replenishes orders as necessary to support operation. 

3.    Supplies cardboard boxes and bags. 

4.    Transports finished good to be shipped.

5.    Stores boxes and product in warehouse.

6.    Performs necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment.

7.    Maintaining safe actions while operating equipment

8.    Must meet department quality, attendance and productivity requirements.

9. Must perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by Company, federal, state, and local provisions.

10.  Other duties as assigned.

 

 

 Third shift opportunities 12a-830a.  Position may require additional hours as well as some Saturdays.  

 

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

This position requires previousforklift experience.  Must have abilityto obtain Greenlee forklift certification, including the tri-loader.  Ability to use the Hand (RF) scanner effectivelyand efficiently.  SAP knowledge is aplus. High school diploma or GED a plus. 

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Performsvaried tasks requiring independent knowledge, its application to a variety ofsituations, as well as exercise of independent judgment in addition toprocedures and instructions provided.  

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:

This positionmay exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount offorce frequently or constantly to grasp, finger, lift, carry, push, pull, orotherwise move objects, including the human body.  Incumbent will be required to perform dynamicactivities including reaching and stretching, as well as, frequent bending andtwisting of the torso.
