JOB SUMMARY: The position will report directly to the ESSG Director of Finance. This position supports day to day accounting functions across ESSG and month end closings. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Keying and entering invoices to be paid in accordance with business unit policy.
Process timely and accurate payments in accordance with the AP payment schedule.
Working with vendors and respective business unit personnel to resolve Invoice problems.
Creating accruals to ensure accurate month end reporting.
Completing other assignments related to the accounts payable function including travel account reimbursements, foreign currency checks, ACH’s and wire transfers.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
Prepare AR invoices for all daily shipments.
Responsible for daily cash collections for all outstanding accounts receivable.
Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements, ledgers, reports and taxes.
Prepare returns for withholding tax, personal property tax, sales/use tax, and 1099/1096 filings.
Participate in annual audits and physical inventories.
Calculate and prepare data for journal entries.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
Analyze product cost accounting transactions
Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
Maintaining compliance with all policies and procedures established by ESS and EGI.

Travels periodically to other ESSG companies, and to customers and vendors as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
4-year college degree in accounting.
2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Experience with data entry and accounts payable processing preferred.
Strong computer skills with a background in Microsoft. Experience with Syteline is a plus.
