Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Regulated Markets Envoy team members.  Manages the performance and develops the feedback of the members of their team, including following through on frequent Check-in conversations.  Focuses on energizing their team and helping them grow by making deeper connections.  Serves as the champion for the Envoy role and contribute to the evolution of the Envoy team.  Assesses, develops and acquires talent.  Assigns projects and work assignments to team members and directs activities, providing functional guidance.  Responsible for escalation, evaluation, and prioritization of business and technology requests.  Collaborate with departmental leaders to develop and implement strategic business work plan and goals.  Participates in process improvement and cross-departmental initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Manage a functional team in one or more sites

  • Work to develop employee’s skills, evaluates performance, provides feedback, and oversees resolution of employee relations issues

  • Conduct frequent Check-ins and participates in performance management sessions

  • Develop and manage resourcing forecasts to address project needs

  • Resolve escalating issues from both business and technology partners

  • Work with departmental leadership to develop and implement strategic business work plan and goals

  • Track and report status to upper management as appropriate

  • Develop annual initiatives and specific deliverables for the team

  • Participate in special projects or task forces as assigned

  • Collaborate with both business and technology management team to identify and implement process improvements

  • Interview, hire and on-board new talents

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 8-12 years relevant work experience. Prior management experience preferred

  • Foundational knowledge of Regulated Markets such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Healthcare Reform preferred

  • A high degree of competency in Word, Excel, and other MS Office Program

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must possess good organizational skills and flexibility to manage multiple priorities and take on new initiatives to support rapid growth

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lead and manage direct reports, establish clear expectations, providing coaching and feedback and assessing and evaluating performance
