Overview:

The Registered Nurse Administrative Supervisor places all admissions in the appropriate bed based on the patient's diagnosis, stability of the patient, physician's preference, the admission criteria for each patient care unit listed in the Patient Placement policy and the staffing and activity on each patient care area.

He or she monitors the staffing and activity on all patient care divisions and takes this into consideration when placing patient. The RN Administrative Supervisor monitors the staffing on all inpatient nursing areas and adjusts according to the census and division guidelines throughout each shift.

Qualifications:

* Experience: A minimum of 3 years' RN experience. Prefers Supervisory or Lead experience.

* Required Education: ASN

* Preferred Education: BSN

* Certifications: BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association prior to completing Orientation. RN MO License.
