Job Summary:

The Patient Care Technician performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Cares for all patients of all ages.

* You will participate in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.

* You must maintain cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers.

* In this role, you will promote a supportive, teamwork oriented environment.

* You must fulfill departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of Horizon.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

* High School Diploma/GED preferred

* 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting preferred

* CNA certification with the state or Fundamentals of Nursing Course at accredited school preferred
