Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, or debugging software programs. Develops the next generation of mixed-signal verification (MSV) tool. The MSV solution development typically needs to work with experts from different areas (Verilog simulator, SPICE simulator and GUI environment). It will also work with AE for the customer support (bug fix and feature enhancement). The new development includes:
- Strengthen the current VAMS simulation flow by enhancing its features in connect module customization, UPF power annotation.
- Integrate the MSV flow into design/debug environment.
- Develop post-layout flow to handle SPF and SDF for MSV.
- Support MSV customer engagement and fulfill customers' requirements.
- Develop MSV solution for AMS regression (SV assertion and UVM-Universal Verification Methodology).
Experience in programming software for operating systems, utilizing machine assembly and/or job control languages, and some knowledge of software capabilities. Designs algorithms and data structures. Experience on development of complex software projects, familiarity with C/C++ coding, and a strong background in data structures and algorithms. Has strong desires to learn and explore new technologies and demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills. Prior knowledge and experience of CAD tool development are required.
- Knowledge of SPICE simulation and VAMS language.
- Knowledge of post-layout back annotation with SPF and SDF
- Experience of integrating systems through APIs with focus of runtime and data structure efficiency
- Efficient on C/C++ code debugging experience with multiple integrated tools.
- Experience of executing white box testing, code review, code coverage and assertion.
- Knowledge of UPF, UVM(Universal Verification Methodology) and SVA (System-Verilog Assertion) is a plus.
Typically requires a minimum of 12+ years of related experience. At this level, post-graduate coursework or knowledge base equivalent may be expected.
