The Sterile Processing Technician is a trained individual who demonstrates competence in the decontamination, processing, sterilization and distribution of equipment and supplies for in-hospital use, is responsible for meeting the approved Standards of Care and Practice (Polices and Procedures), and promotes collaboration with other health care providers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of one year or related experience/job training preferred.
