Your day
As a Tech with us, you need to know how to: Coordinates patient transfers from physician offices, hospitals, and other healthcare setting in an efficient and timely manner
Conducts insurance verification, pre-registration and approvals
Assists with transportation arrangements and follow-up communication
Understands and adheres to level of patient care requirements, bed capacity, service line capabilities, and acceptance pathways by care site
Adheres to EMTALA regulatory guidelines for patient transfers
Ensures timely and accurate transfer documentation
Receives delegation from the Transfer Center RN
(If applicable) May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Your experience

But we also expect excellence, which is why we require: High school diploma or equivalent, required Basic Life Support (BLS), required Colorado EMT Certification, preferred 2 years of acute hospital experience, required EMT or Emergency Department experience, preferred Your next move
