Director, Digital Health at Genmab

Job Description:

Genmab is focused on the creation and development of innovative and differentiated antibody products, with the aim of improving the lives of cancer patients.

The Role:

As Director of Digital Health, you will play a pivotal role in developing digital health solutions for Genmab in the clinical trials and commercial settings to significantly improve patients' lives. You will work with a multidisciplinary international team of world-class professionals in R&D, Product Supply, Commercial and IT to deliver innovative HCP and/or patient facing digital platforms that enable the delivery of transformative and more efficient care to patients with unmet medical needs..

Responsibilities:

Strategic:


  • Co-creates our digital health multi-year strategy, anticipating and identifying cross-functional initiative needs and priorities


  • Leads the development of the digital health governance and businesses processes in partnership with Translational, Clinical, Commercial and IT organizations


  • Develops and aligns priorities and goals for digital health programs across the organization


  • Ensures implementation of success metrics, reports, and processes to measure program effectiveness


  • Provides thought leadership with internal partners and external technology providers


  • Develops and leads external collaborations and partnerships in the digital health space to advance our strategic portfolio


Execution:


  • Develops a close collaboration with Translational, Clinical, and Commercial stakeholders to understand their needs, strategic priorities, and pain points


  • Supports effective utilization and further development of digital health knowledge, tools, and platforms to achieve best practice in planning and cross-functional coordination


  • Drives and oversees (hands-on) the implementation of Digital Health programs and business models


  • Provides subject matter expertise to build the digital health competency and required skills


  • Works with legal, security, and compliance teams


Requirements:


  • 10+ years of relevant experience in healthcare - including healthcare technologies and innovative business models


  • 5+ years of relevant business or technical leadership experience with demonstrable record of delivering and executing impactful digital health strategies


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills


  • Highly analytical and capable of understanding the complexities of clinical trials and the healthcare provider business processes and enterprise IT environments, while communicating and presenting clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and decision makers


  • Deep working knowledge of business, clinical, operational, and IT processes in healthcare, especially in large enterprises


  • Deep understanding of how the healthcare provider industry operates and the unique characteristics of the industry ecosystem in the US, Europe and Japan


  • A sense of urgency and drive to solve problems and create repeatable and scalable solutions that have lasting impact


  • Working knowledge or experience in cloud computing and its application in the healthcare industry.


  • BS, MS, PhD, in a quantitative discipline or MD with digital platform experience/technical background
